What is Giving Tuesday?


In response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the day was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.


How Can You Support Us On Giving Tuesday?


  1. Get started setting up your Facebook fundraiser https://www.facebook.com/fundraisers/

  2. Click the button that says "Select Nonprofit" and search for and select Community Coalitions of Idaho as the Nonprofit you are raising money for.

  3. Set your fundraising goal.

  4. Set December 2nd 2020 as the end of your Giving Tuesday Fundraiser.

  5. Add a title to you Giving Tuesday fundraiser like "Support Idaho Drug Prevention for Giving Tuesday" adopt the script below as to why Community Coalitions of Idaho is important to you.

  6. Join me is standing in the Gap for Drug and Alcohol use prevention in our teens for #GivingTuesday. Please give to Community Coalitions of Idaho an organization that works to support Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalitions across the State of Idaho. Weather you donate $5 or $500 every little bit helps. To learn more about Community Coalitions of Idaho go to www.communitycoalitionsofidaho.org

After competing the steps above select an image from the choices given as the header for your fundraiser and create your fundraiser. Once it is created Facebook will give you a series of prompts to invite your friends and family.


Tips for success:
