About the event

Marco Started doing prevention work in elementary school in the 1980’s through his work with the Just say No program started by Nancy Regan. Marco started working in youth leadership on at national level in 1996 and became a motivational speaker at the age of 19. Marco Graduated from Montana State University with his Bachelors degree in psychology in 2001 and a Masters in Psychology from Walden University in 2009. Marco spent 14 years providing direct mental health services to clients and their families including being co-owner of a mental health agency and clinical director. Marco has been a drug and alcohol prevention advocate his entire professional career and at one point was in charge of all prevention efforts for the State of Nevada which included managing $50 million in prevention and treatment focused work. Marco currently works for Community Youth in Action (CYA) as the program director and was elected to serve in the Idaho State Legislature in 2020 representing Idaho Falls and serves on the Health and Welfare, Judicial Rules, and Local Government committees.
